Leigh Marsh fell under the spell of music at the age of five, and since graduating from Adelaide’s Elder Conservatorium of Music has involved himself in all manner of musical projects.
As a guitarist, drummer, bassist and singer, he has been part of genre-spanning collaborations in retro-rock, gypsy-swing, funk, afro-beat, avant-garde, shoegaze and cabaret. Being a composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist means he performs and produces much of his work single-handedly.
Marsh brings a deep appreciation and understanding of a wide range of musical styles to each project, and thrives on delving into new musical genres, concepts and media.
In 2017, with assistance from Arts South Australia, Marsh completed a one-on-one mentorship with renowned screen composer Bryony Marks (Please Like Me, Berlin Syndrome).
Recently he has collaborated with Askja Films and Bluebird Productions on their UK short film ’Cut’, and has provided music for several South Australian brands.
